The American Heart Association is accepting nominations for the Healthy Lifestyle Change Award.
The Healthy Lifestyle Change Award is an opportunity for individuals in the Blair County community to nominate a deserving female of any age who has incorporated healthy living into her everyday life, and by doing so has dramatically improved her health.
The awardee will be recognized locally by the American Heart Association during the Blair Go Red for Women event on Thursday, May 26, at the Blair County Convention Center.
Cardiovascular disease is the No. 1 killer of women. It claims more women’s lives than all forms of cancer combined.
Go Red for Women is the American Heart Association’s signature women’s initiative to end heart disease and stroke in women by helping women understand their risk and empowering them to take chare of their heart health.
